Supervisor Efron Carillo is blasting former State Senator Noreen Evans, who is trying to replace him on the Board of Supervisors, for being an ‘ineffective lawmaker in Sacramento who accomplished little and refused to represent her district."

Harsh. Unless you know the backstory.

Evans slammed back yesterday, citing Carillo's legal problems in the past two years. Carillo was arrested twice and was acquitted two years ago on criminal peeking charges stemming from  a pre-dawn 2013 arrest outside a female neighbor’s home — behavior he attributed to a cocktail of alcoholism and egotism. Evans says she and 23 other lawmakers asked him to step down, which he refused to do.

Evans ended her diatribe against Carillo with the hashtag #endrapeculture.
